BIFMC PHARMACY

The Pharmacy hours are Monday – Friday, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. For a prescription refill, please call 843-737-9076. Be sure to leave a message with your name, date of birth, and name of medication(s) you need filled. Please allow up to 72 hours for refills.

Barrier Islands Free Medical Clinic has a pharmacy licensed through the South Carolina Board of Pharmacy. The on-site pharmacy is staffed by a Pharmacist in Charge and a dedicated team of volunteers. Through generous donations from relief organizations, the on-site pharmacy is able to provide essential medications at no cost to our patients.

The pharmacy at BIFMC is limited to donations from accredited relief organizations. We are not able to accept donated medications from individuals. We do not carry or dispense any controlled substances.

Welvista is a large charitable mail order pharmacy that provides a wide range of acute and chronic medications. If you are uninsured and need assistance, Welvista offers delivery of medications at no cost to eligible patients. Welvista eligibility requirements include: uninsured, proof of residency in South Carolina, and proof of income at or below federal guidelines. Barrier Islands Free Medical Clinic provides assistance with Welvista applications.
