Barrier Islands Free Medical Clinic hosts their annual James M. Hayes, MD 'Clays for Care' Sporting Clays Tournament at the Kiawah Island Sporting Club each fall. The most recent event took place on Wednesday, September 24th 2025.

 Each year, we invite area businesses to support Barrier Islands Free Clinic as they provide free, comprehensive health care to uninsured adults across the Barrier Islands through their sponsorship and participation in the Annual Sporting Clays Tournament. Join us for a day of challenging and competitive stations, including a silent auction and awards reception to follow.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
8:30 AM – Morning Registration Begins *(afternoon shoot registration begins at 11:30 am)
9:30 AM – Morning Shoot (AM Shotgun Start)
11:30 AM – Afternoon registration / Flurry Shoot for top 5 shooters from various classes /
12:00 PM – Morning Prize Awards / Lunch 
1:00 PM – Lowcountry Drawing
1:30 PM – Afternoon Shoot (PM Shotgun Start)
3:00 PM – Flurry Shoot for combined top 5 shooters from various classes
4:00 PM – Afternoon Prize Awards Reception
