Out of an abundance of caution, the clinic will close and reschedule all patient appointments until April 1. Staff and medical providers will be available by phone to patients as needed, and prescriptions will be filled. See our update:
“For the safety of our volunteers and patients, Barrier Islands Free Medical Clinic has decided to reschedule all patient care appointments until after April 1st. Our staff will continue to answer phone calls from 9-5pm daily, and patients can speak to a medical provider as needed. We will continue to fill Welvista prescriptions, which will be ready to pick up at the door of the clinic. Please be aware of possible exposure and take all precautions to be as safe as possible.”
